An exciting introduction to music performance for young children from junior infants to second class.
Foundation Programme for Primary Schools
Providing primary school children with tuition in singing, percussion, recorder, tin whistle, music notation and ensemble playing.
Wicklow Children’s Choral Programme
This programme provides high quality music experience, delivered in a fun and accessible way, to enable children to become more confident at music reading and performance.
Small Group Instrument Tuition
Group music tuition on a range of instruments and vocal style across different music genres for children and young people in small groups.
Community-based hubs offering tuition, workshops and peer support for groups, bands and young musicians in songwriting, composition, recording, production, traditional Irish music sessions and more.
A variety of instruments are available to rent at subsidised rates.
An after-school programme for second level students in Wicklow town, providing an opportunity to engage in collaborative music-making.
Programmes to encourage the creation of ensemble playing for young musicians, including out-of-school programmes in recorder, string and Jazz, and assistance to new school orchestras and ensembles through shared musician expertise.
Weekly workshops in Bray for young people, available from late 2016.
Fun and energetic experiences in music with programmes including rock, traditional Irish and samba drumming summer camps.
