Music Generation Galway County runs a variety of programmes and tuition including:

Symphonic Waves

Symphonic Waves

Symphonic Waves is a youth orchestra for the west of Ireland open to young musicians aged 13 - 21 from or based in Galway, Roscommon, Sligo, Leitrim, Mayo, Clare or Limerick. Symphonic Waves is supported by Galway 2020.

Uilleann Pipes Tuition Programme

Uilleann Pipes Tuition Programme

Following the recent Try the Pipes events in Clifden and Carraroe in November 2018, Music Generation Galway County in partnership with Na Píobairí Uilleann are proposing uilleann pipes tuition in early 2019 subject to demand.

Lán le Ceol

Lán le Ceol

Lán le Ceol is a Primary school based music access programmes due to be rolled out before the end of 2018 in a small number of schools with a view to growing this number in 2019.

RockPopHipHop

RockPopHipHop

RockPopHipHop is a popular music access programme for teenagers providing tuition in a range of instruments and vocals. The programme will also create opportunities for participants to meet like-minded musicians and form bands. Locations to be announced soon.
