
Geantraí – An Ghlúin Úr
On Sunday, March 16th 21:30, TG4 will premiere Geantraí- An Ghlúin Úr. Filmed during Galway Tradfest, featuring over 200 young musicians
Cruinniú na nÓg is back and bigger than ever! Unleash your creative spark with Music Generation on Saturday 7th June.
Cruinniú na nÓg is Ireland’s national day of free creative activity for children and young people. Everyone is welcome to take part.
Young musicians will take over Swords Castle for the We Own The Castle music festival. It is led by Garageland Galaxyz. Catch a live performance on the main stage from Music Generation Fingal band ‘Spectrum’.
Be inspired by the poetry and songs from young creatives in Music Generation Wicklow. They worked with poet Colm Keegan to write poems about their thoughts and feelings. These poems inspired composer Fionn Foley to write a new song called ‘Rathdrum Rhapsody’. Hear it live on Cruinniú na nÓg.

Young concertina player Kate Breathnach will be a Cruinniú na nÓg Ambassador for County Clare. Kate performs with Music Generation Clare's Irish Concertina Orchestra. The Cruinniú na nÓg Ambassador for Wicklow will be young musician Fionn Whelan. Fionn is a participant on the Music Generation Wicklow programme.
Well done to Kate and Fionn on flying the flag for music and creativity in County Clare and County Wicklow!
