We are excited to present the Music Generation Annual Report for 2025. In 2024, we proudly reached 10% of children and young people in Ireland.
'The band U2 recently announced that they are providing €5m to fund music education in Irish schools between now and 2015. Cynics may say that this is purely a publicity stunt to improve their image at home. True or not, with education budgets being cut, their promise to provide 50% of the financing for after-school clubs for 16,000 children has been praised by politicians in a country famous for its musical heritage, but where just 1% of secondary-school pupils receive free music tuition....' ...........
