The National Youth Council of Ireland Training and Conference Event

The National Youth Council of Ireland are holding a conference and training courses for individuals and organisations working in the youth and community sector.

This one-day event for those leading organisations and teams in the youth and community sector, academics and policy makers will explore the use of arts practice in youth work.

Courses available:
NYCI Certificate in Child Protection and Welfare 2013-14, NUI Maynooth
Offered by the Department of Applied Social Studies NUIM in partnership with the NYCI Child Protection Programme.
The aim of the certificate in child protection and welfare is to provide those with a professional interest in, and responsibility for, child protection and welfare with the knowledge, skills and competences related to the key issues involved for their organisation.
It will provide them with an up to date and comprehensive overview of child protection and welfare and how it relates to their area of work and/or organisation.

NYCI Certificate in Youth Arts 2013-2014, NUI Maynooth
The NYCI Certificate in Youth Arts is a part time, year long university accredited course of study in Irish Youth Arts Practice managed and delivered by the Arts Programme at NYCI.
(Accrediting body: NUI Maynooth, Dept of Applied Social Studies)
We are now accepting applications for the Certificate in Youth Arts 2013- 2014.
The application deadline is Friday 20th September 2013.
