Music Generation’s performance season has swung into action! Throughout May and June thousands of children and young people across the country will take centre stage to celebrate their musical achievements in style.
The season got off to a great start last week with Music Generation Carlow's Little People Big Voices annual concert. Young performers aged 3 - 5 years presented Dido & The Animals to a delighted audience in The George Bernard Shaw Theatre, Carlow.
Some of the upcoming highlights will include a weeklong series of choral concerts in Clare, a spectacular brass extravaganza in Cork City, musical adventures at the Speigeltent in Limerick City, String Orchestra performances at DkIT Louth and the world premiere of new works by young musicians from Carlow’s Young Composer’s Club!
Why not go along to one of the concerts in your area, support young performing musicians, find out what your local Music Generation programme has available for next term and how you can get invovled.
