The Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM) Diploma in Community and Group Teaching aims to provide musicians with the skill required to teach effectively and positively in community and classroom settings.
This Diploma is non-genre specific, but suitable candidates will have a high level of musical literacy and will have some professional experience in music.
The course is taught over six intensive weekends, commencing September each Academic Year. On-site training in a school and/or community setting will also form part of the coursework. The cost [including course materials] is €1,350.
