Celebrate Culture Night with Music Generation
This One Night For All takes place on Friday 19th September 2025.
On Wednesday 27th November 2013 Jimmy Deenihan TD, Minister for the Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, and Ruairí Quinn TD, the Minister for Education and Skills will launch Encountering the Arts Ireland (ETAI) at 2pm in the National Museum of Ireland, Kildare Street, Dublin 2. ETAI marks an historic coming together of many significant organisations and individuals who share a common purpose of working to allow children and young people encounter quality arts and education.
Performing at the event will be Music Generation Mayo's accomplished young traditional ensemble, Gealóga. No strangers to high-profile events, Gealóga were featured Music Generation Young Musical Ambassadors at a Department of Education and Skills EU Presidency event in June.
Gealóga played wonderfully, and the atmosphere was buzzing with the great variety of Arts organisations attending the event. We look forward to the next performance from Gealóga, as they continue growing their music performance experience with the opportunities that come their way.
For further information on Gealóga visit Music Generation Mayo's website here.
