Music Generation Celebrates St Patrick's Festival Weekend
Lá Fhéile Pádraig sona dhaoibh! Celebrate St. Patrick's Festival weekend with Music Generation.
Create your very own sonic sculpture using a loop machine, fx pedals, microphones and a variety of sound-making devices, not forgetting your own personal instrument – your voice. Participants will learn the art of layering and combining sounds in rhythmical patterns in order to create a cohesive audio collage of various textures and melodies – and most importantly it will be great fun! No musical experience necessary - suitable for all ages.
Workshop facilitator Kate McKeon is also the newly appointed Music Generation Co-ordinator for Co.Mayo and will be delighted to tell you all about Music Generation Mayo and the upcoming plans in store!
