Music Generation Offaly launch Clara Bog Soundwalk
Young musicians from Music Generation Offaly have created a unique geo-located soundwalk for the Clara Bog Boardwalk.
Pupils from 2nd to 6th class in St Colmcille's NS in Errill, County Laois have just recorded and released their first album, In 2Une, featuing a selection of popular favourites arranged by Nuala Kelly, school choir director with Music Generation Laois.
The CD, which was recorded and mixed at local studio Frank's Shed, was just one of several projects undertaken by the students in the busy weeks leading up to Christmas. Proceeds from the sale of the CD will go towards the school and Music Generation has it on good authority that the CD is fast disappearing off the shelves in local shops.
