
Celebrate Culture Night with Music Generation

Paula Phelan is announced as the Music Generation Co-ordinator for Carlow.
Paula Phelan is from Kildare and is an early music enthusiast. Paula completed her undergraduate BAmus degree in NUI Maynooth and holds an MA Baroque Performance Practice from Queens University Belfast and an MA Arts Administration and Cultural Policy from University College Dublin. Paula returned to NUI Maynooth to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Education and graduated with 1st class honors in 2012.
Paula began her professional career in arts administration and then moved to the private sector where she worked at senior management level of a large multinational company. Through these experiences she brings to the role her expertise and experience in the areas, finance, management and the delivery of programmes backed with an understanding of the arts and most specifically music education. Paula has worked extensively in the primary sector on choral and instrumental projects and in secondary settings with the development of rock school formats.

With her experience and skills of working in the field of music development, Paula brings a wealth of expertise and skills to the role of Co-ordinator with Music Generation Carlow.
