Young Ambassadors celebrate a decade of Music Generation at The Ireland Funds Worldwide Conference 2022 with Sharon Shannon and Adam Clayton.
The town of Fenagh was a hive of activity over three days in September as it welcomed some 297,000 visitors to the 88th National Ploughing Championships – and Music Generation Carlow was at the heart of the action.
Carlow County brass band Boombrasstic drew crowds with energetic performances of pop classics, in addition to playing the Presidential Salute on the arrival of Uachtarán na hÉireann, Michael D Higgins.
On the closing day of Ploughing 19, trad ensembles Reelig and ReelÓg were invited to perform in the Carlow County Council tent, as well as for Minister for Education and Skills, Joe McHugh T.D., in the Government Village.
