Music Generation Waterford are getting ready for a massive House Takeover at Theatre Royal. Young musicians and bands will fill the venue all evening with their vibrant musicmaking. Read more here.

Nasc'24 is a trad fusion ensemble of over 70 young musicians from the Northeast border region. Following the recent premiere of their original work "The Circle of Life" at the Fleadh 2024 they are set to bring the performance to the Garage Theatre in Monaghan.
Guided by Lisa Canny and a team of Musician Educators, this unique performance celebrates creativity and collaboration. Nasc’24 is made up of young musicians from Music Generations Cavan/Monaghan, Louth, Meath, in partnership with Oriel Centre, Dundalk Gaol and Comhaltas.

Get ready for a jam-packed day at Music Generation Cork City! From Gamelan and Trad to Rap and Open Mic sessions, there’s something for everyone at Hollyhill Library and The Kabin Studio. Young musicians will have the chance to perform, join workshops, and explore new musical styles throughout the day (and night!). There’s still time to sign up.
Join Music Generation Galway City at Pavee Point Traveller & Roma Centre in Dublin. There will be for a special screening of a short film made with young Traveller children from Foróige Ballinfoyle and Music Generation Galway City. This will be followed by live music performances of traditional Traveller songs. The lineup includes Musician Educator PJ Mongan. This event will be a fantastic opportunity to see local young Traveller musicians shine through film and music!
Music Generation Kerry's Young String Ensemble will perform at the 'Harmony through Diversity' concert, in partnership with Munster Technological University. The concert will be held at the Island of Geese Theatre in Tralee. Learn more here.
'Try the Pipes' with Music Generation Kilkenny and Kilkenny Uilleann Pipers Club. Learn more about the UNESCO Heritage Instrument, the Uilleann Pipes. People of all ages can come along to try out the pipes and hear demonstrations by the Musician Educators. This will be followed by a lecture on the history of uilleann pipes in Kilkenny.
Get ready for Rathdowney Revel! This will be an exciting outdoor event hosted by Music Generation Laois in partnership with Laois Arts. There will be a unique blend of cultural activities at the event including samba music, fire performances, giant puppets, and more. Young musicians from local schools will have the opportunity to perform together for their friends, families and community.
Celebrate the best of youth culture with Music Generation Limerick City. There will be music, arts, games and lots more at Lavas Java Youth Cafe on Culture Night. Enjoy live performances, music workshop and karaoke with Music Generation Limerick City.
Music Generation Limerick County and Newcastle West Foroige have teamed up for a full day of music making! From virtual reality (VR) music workshops to live evening performances, young people will create new tracks and take the stage in a supportive, inclusive space. They will perform for their local community on the Square in Newcastle West from 6pm – 8pm. Drop by and give them a cheer!
"Reels on the Bus” is a bodhrán workshop and live trad music session open to children and young people in Longford. Participants will take part in a one-hour workshop on the Big Yellow Bus. They will put their new skills to use in a live trad ‘session’ alongside professional musicians. Absolute beginners and experienced musicians are welcome to join this immersive music making experience.
Bodhráns will be provided by Music Generation Longford so everyone can take part.
Enjoy Culture Night at the Linen Hall Arts Centre in Castlebar with Music Generation Mayo. The opening performance will be Music Generation Mayo's Harp Ensemble. They will be a variety of other local ensembles and a Silent Disco at this event.
Calling all singers and musicians! Take the stage and share your talent at Music Generation Offaly’s Open Mic at Esker Arts Centre. Whether you’re performing or supporting, this event is about giving young musicians a welcoming and supportive space to shine on Culture Night.
Join Music Generation South Dublin at County Hall Tallaght on Culture Night as they premiere a new music commission by Damien Gallagher. This piece was composed for a children’s chorus, adult choir, string quartet, pipes, oboe and flute. The event will feature the release of a new single by SubSounds, music from CEOL and spoken word performance by poet Ben MacCaoilte.
