Today Jimmy Deenihan TD Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, and Ruairí Quinn TD Minister for Education and Skills, will host a day-long symposium Engagement between the Higher Education and the Arts Sectors - Why is it important, how does it happen, and how do we benefit?
This symposium is organised with the assistance and support of the Higher Education Authority and will involve a range of speakers including those drawn from the Higher Education and Arts Sectors.
The symposium will examine the engagement between the Higher Education sector and the Arts Sector and pose three core questions:
Music Generation will be among the featured Poster Presentations at the symposium which highlights the range of partnerships now happening with Higher Education Institutes throughout the country.
