Over 50 Music Generation workshops and performances will take place on Cruinniú na nÓg for children and young people across Ireland on 10th June 2023.
Children and young people across the Music Generation network are gearing up for a month of fun-filled, festive performances and workshops.
From the ‘Jingle Bell Rockout’ with Music Generation Kilkenny, to the Newcastle West Christmas busk with Music Generation Limerick County or seasonal school concerts at Temperance Hall with Music Generation Longford – we've got it all! We are truly proud of all the young musicians stepping on stage to perform for their local communities. A virtual bualadh bos to you all from Music Generation.

Don't miss Music Generation Kilkenny's ‘SING OUT’ event - a fun and accessible concert for the whole family to enjoy. 200 children from local primary schools in Kilkenny will come together in St. Canice’s Cathedral for a festive concert of seasonal songs. Music Generation Roscommon’s Senior Youth Voices will perform at Roscommon Arts Centre as part of the Sunday Sounds concert series. Folk/Trad band Western Roots will also feature at this event. Get your tickets here.

Twelve-year-old Aaron Hennessy, aka MC Bucky, from The Kabin and Music Generation Cork City, made his debut appearance on The Late Late Toy Show last week. The young rapper and wordsmith performed an original rap piece as part of an ensemble cover of Lizzo's 'About That Time'.
Since his performance, Aaron has been on the media circuit performing and speaking on Cork's 96FM, as well as being interviewed by the Irish Examiner.
