Culture Night at a Glance
Corda Connections will play their biggest performance yet at University of Limerick. After an inspiring summer residential they are ready to step on stage at University Concert Hall.
The young string players are part of Music Generation Kerry, Music Generation Louth and ICO Youth. Expect to hear The Barber of Seville, Mars, a Lady Gaga Medley, and an American Folk Song Suite (and lots more). Book your free ticket here.
Music Generation Offaly will host Midland Rocks – an open mic event for young bands at Esker Arts Centre. Whether it's your band's first time performing or a chance to test out a new song, this is the perfect opportunity to play live for an audience. Find out more here.
Experience The Sense Ensemble with George Higgs and Music Generation Wexford. George will showcase his collection of multi-sensory instruments and graphic scores. These have been developed in collaboration with the deaf community over the last 15 years. Recently he has worked with deaf children in Newbawn NS with Music Generation Wexford. Find out more here.

Experience Tradition Reimagined at St. Columba’s Church this Culture Night, where the MG Clare Harp Ensemble, Irish Chamber Orchestra, and special guest John Spillane come together for an unforgettable evening of music.

Join us in Swords Castle Chapel for a 60 minute challenge to write and record a brand-new song from scratch! Guided by our Musician Educators, you’ll help shape the lyrics, melodies, and beats in this fun, hands-on workshop. All ages and abilities are encouraged to take part.
Celebrate Culture Night with the Tralee and Kenmare Band Projects, showcasing the energy and talent of young musicians in KCYS Tralee and the Carnegie Arts Centre, Kenmare.
Music Generation Kerry & Music Generation Louth Enjoy Culture Night with the Corda Connections at University Concert Hall Limerick. Over 45 young musicians from ICO Youth, Music Generation Kerry, and Music Generation Louth will come together to perform an exciting programme. Enjoy songs from The Barber of Seville and Mars to a Lady Gaga medley and an American Folk Song Suite. A showcase of incredible talent and collaboration you won’t want to miss!
Music Generation Laois will host music workshops, concerts, and community performances for Culture Night! Highlights include singing workshop with guest artist Ríoghnach Connolly - RTÉ Radio 1 Best Folk Singer / BBC Radio 2 Folk Singer of the Year. This will be followed by a concert with the guest artist and Dunamaise Strings ensemble, and a special community choir performance.
Step into the world of 12 Scissors, a murder mystery short film from Limerick Youth Theatre in collaboration withMusic Generation Limerick City, with screenings at 6pm and 8pm.
Enjoy live performances in Newcastle West Foroige and Abbeyfeale Library this Culture Night! Local young musicians will showcase their talent with music and song from 5-7pm in each location.

Clonmel comes alive with Enter the Night. This large-scale outdoor concert will showcase alternative and up-and coming bands from 8pm. Expect live music, food trucks, and festival energy filling the plaza until midnight!
Music Generation Waterford are ready for a massive House Takeover at Theatre Royal. Young musicians and bands will fill every corner of the venue with music. Expect a mix of indoor and outdoor performances by the Music Generation Waterford Wind Ensemble, Trad Harps & Pipes and Open Mic. It takes place from 4-5pm on Culture Night.
The Ubuntu Intercultural Choir brings voices from many cultures together in harmony at Tuar Ard Arts Centre THe diverse community choir was formed by Music Generation Westmeath in partnership with Tuar Ard Arts Centre and New Horizons Athlone.
