Calling young musicians in Louth! Register for new classes in Strings, Singing and Pop/Rock Bands

To kick off the New Year, Music Generation Louth has launched a range of affordable new classes which will take place at hubs in Dundalk, Drogheda and Ardee.

Introducing Strings is a fun beginner group class providing opportunities to learn both upper strings (violin/viola) and lower strings (cello and double bass). Instruments will be made available for students to use at each class.

Performance-focused group singing classes covering vocal technique and a range of musical styles, including contemporary pop vocals, are perfect for anyone who wants to learn to sing or improve their technique.

Pick Up and Play pop/rock band classes were launched in Louth last year to create opportunities for young musicians to make and perform the music they love. The classes focus on live performance, song writing and music production and are suited to those who would like to play pop and rock music as part of a group. Participants will have the opportunity to learn and develop their skills on electric guitar, bass, drums and keyboards.
