
Celebrate Culture Night with Music Generation
This One Night For All takes place on Friday 19th September 2025.
Back for another year, Cruinniú na nÓg is Ireland’s national day of free creativity for those aged under 18, where thousands of young people, parents and families will have the opportunity to take part in a wide range of fun, free, creative activities. A flagship initiative of the Creative Ireland Programme’s Creative Youth plan, Cruinniú na nÓg 2019 will take place tomorrow, Saturday 14 June and, as in 2018, many Music Generation partnerships will be part of the action.
Carlow locals will have the chance to hear one of the counties finest young ensembles, Boombrasstic, perform at Carlow Library, 12 noon.
Music Generation Clare is ready to launch a new CD of music created by its participants in Ennis Market Building.
In Cork City, an evening of trad kicks off with Creative Tradition, supported by Music Generation Cork City and Cork Midsummer Festival, as well as a music workshop with Cork rapper GMC.
Music Generation dlr and South Dublin will partner with the four Dublin local authorities to present a series of Early Years creative music workshops for babies and young children.
Music Generation Laois invites you to try an instrument at a workshop in Dunamaise Arts Centre in collaboration with Laois School of Music.
Music Generation Leitrim wants you to experience the fun of playing and improvising together as a group with a ukulele workshop for 9-17 year olds.
Music Generation Sligo is set to raise the roof of the Rumble Rehearsal Studios with a concert featuring performances by three teenage bands that rehearse as part of the Music Generation Sligo Saturday sessions.
There will be workshops galore in Waterford, hosted throughout the day in the Central Library from ukulele to singing to movement.
Wexford music lovers have plenty of opportunities to get involved, as Music Generation Wexford invites you to join its Room to Create sound art workshop for teenagers in the Presentation Centre, its High Street Opera Shop for young people aged 8-14 in the National Opera House and the Pavilion in the Park singing showcase, Gorey.
Music Generation Wicklow alumnus Amy Barrett will support the Key Notes in Russborough House, supported by Music Generation Wicklow.
