Traditional Summer Camp
Monday 15 - Friday 19 July
Blessington Adult Education Centre, Blessington
9 - 16 yrs old.
This July, we invite young musicians to learn new tunes, share old ones and develop their ensemble playing with the guidance of our expert tutors. Participants will be coached by leading musicians each day leading to a final concert on Friday for friends and family. All instruments will be catered for as the main focus of the course is playing together in a group. The workshops and rehearsals will cater for a range of abilities from beginner to advanced musicians. Students must bring their own instrument, but all other required resources will be provided.
The tutors on this course will be Rory Healy (fiddle, accordion, whistle, bodhran) and Courtney Cullen (fiddle, whistle, flute).
