Summer Camp: The Art of The Band

The Crib, Rockwood Parade, Sligo
Suitable for 13-18 yr olds
Philip Cassidy will work with up to 12 young people from existing bands or performers who wish to form a band. He will cover the areas of guitar and drum tuition and the essentials of the music industry: Organising a gig; Promotion; Copyright - Protecting your music; Releasing a single/album; Recording; Setting Up a Gig - Stage Logistics. On the final day guest band 21 Outs will join participants for a Band Workshop.
