Suburban Sounds Schools Programme for South Dublin County, 2017/2018
CONTACT Studio is a South Dublin County Arts Office initiative. Suburban Sounds Schools is funded under the Music Generation/Arts Council Partnership and by Music Generation South Dublin, South Dublin County Council and Dublin/Dun Laoghaire ETB.
Throughout the programme students are mentored by professional musicians, working towards creating, producing and performing music from the original conception to the final product and performance.
This performance music programme focuses on creativity, tuition, group work and project management. Participants are given a whole music experience that will benefit them in many areas of their careers going forward.

This varied, vibrant and young person-focused music programme offers participants experience in:
- Song writing, arrangement and composition
- Instrument and vocal workshops
- Project planning
- Studio and recording experience
- Sound production and techniques
- An end-of-programme performance showcase
