Resource Worker with Music Generation Mayo

Mayo, Sligo and Leitrim Education & Training Board - lead partner in Music Generation Mayo - seeks to employ a Resource Worker, for the management, promotion and day-to-day running of the Music Generation Mayo - Youth Music Hub and associated music education outreach projects in Co Mayo for a fixed term period of 12 months.

The Youth Music Hub, situated in Ballina Arts Centre is designed to be a central location that provides support, resources, information and a positive environment for young musicians, singer-songwriters and bands aged 12-18 yrs. to receive tuition, rehearse, collaborate, perform and inspire each other.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification and a passion for the engagement and development of music in all its forms, experience working with young people and excellent communication, organisational and technical skills.
