Kilkenny Carlow Education and Training Board, as lead partner of Music Generation Carlow (MGC) and Music Generation Kilkenny (MGKK) wishes to recruit suitably qualified/experienced musician educators to add to a panel to deliver the following programme strands:
Music Generation Carlow Panel
(i) Classical Strings Specialist: Panelled to MG Carlow
(ii) Classical Flute Specialist: Panelled to MG Carlow
(iii) Drum/percussion Specialist: Panelled to MG Carlow
(iv) Vocal Specialist: Panelled to MG Carlow
Music Generation Kilkenny Panel
(v) Piano/Keyboard Specialist multi-genre: Panelled to MG Kilkenny
(vi) Song-writing specialist across genres & styles: Panelled to MG Kilkenny
Music Generation Kilkenny panel & Music Generation Carlow Panel – working across both counties
(vii) Concertina Specialist: Panelled to MG Carlow and Kilkenny
(viii) Bodhrán Specialist: Panelled to MG Carlow and Kilkenny
(ix) Button Accordion Specialist: Panelled to MG Carlow and Kilkenny
(x) Early Years Music: Panelled to MG Carlow and Kilkenny
Musician educators will work with children and young people to deliver small group/large group performance music education in community/classroom contexts and may work on one or more programmes at any given time. Applicants must be available to deliver tuition at more than one location throughout Co. Carlow, Co. Kilkenny, or both.
