Job Opportunity: Head of Quality, Support and Development at Music Generation National Development Office

Established in 2010, Music Generation’s mission is to empower children and young people to realise their full potential through access to, and participation in, high quality performance music education.

The National Development Office is now seeking to appoint a Head of Quality, Support and Development (QSD). Over the past decade, the organisation has scaled nationally and is currently preparing an ambitious new five-year strategic plan (2022 – 2026). Throughout the lifetime of this new plan, quality of experience for children and young people will continue to be a key strategic priority for the organisation. This senior leadership role will be pivotal to driving this priority and the post holder will be responsible for devising a strategic approach to delivering on our goals for quality.

We are seeking a skilled professional with strong expertise in and a demonstrable track record of delivering results, high standards and achievement in music education development. You will enjoy working in a mission driven organisation to inspire a culture of quality across a national network. This role offers a unique opportunity for someone dynamic to join the National Development Office at an exciting time of development for music education in Ireland.

The position will be offered as a 5-year fixed term contract. Music Generation’s National Development Office is located in Dublin city centre. However, the role will require the post holder to work at and from other locations throughout the country on a regular basis. The job may be performed onsite or through a hybrid working arrangement.
