John Lennon Educational Bus and Music Generation national tour summer 2015
Following the success of our collaboration with The John Lennon Educational Bus Tour in 2013, we are pleased to share the news with you that the bus is back this summer.
The bus, which contains a fully equipped state-of-the-art music studio, will take in 12 counties and reach over 100 young musicians.
The five-week tour will travel to the north, south, east and west corners of Ireland visiting Tallaght, Wicklow, Louth, Laois, Carlow, Cork City, Clare, Westmeath, Mayo, Sligo and Donegal from July 21- August 28.
The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus is a non-profit state-of-the-art mobile audio and HD video recording and production facility. The Bus, which was made possible by Yoko Ono Lennon, is dedicated to providing young people with tours of the studios and participation in free song writing and multimedia production workshops. With the assistance of three on-board engineers, young aspiring musicians learn how to write, perform, record, and produce original songs, produce and shoot music videos and documentaries and complete a broadcast quality music video. Young musicians on board will have the opportunity to experience this extraordinary world class education resource.
The bus will be open to the public on Thursday July 23 from 10am – 5pm at Tallaght Civic Theatre and tours will be offered to anyone who would like to step on board.
