Music Generation Sligo Summer Camp - Orchestral Adventures
Tuesday 29 July – Friday 1 August: 10am - 2pm, Presbyterian Church, Church Street, Sligo
Suitable for ages: 6-12, Musical Ability/Level: Primary Grade to Grade III Cost €40
Instruments: Recorder, Flute, Cello, Violin, Viola
The aim of this camp is to give young children the opportunity to perform in groups with other instruments. Led by experienced musicians, we intend to provide a different opportunity from the
children’s regular lessons; they will learn to play with others of similar ability and perhaps discover more about their particular instrument and how to play it. Each student will participate in a variety of activities, which will develop their sight-reading and ear-training skills, posture and technique, singing skills and general musical knowledge.
