Music Generation Cork City are delighted to be partnering with Irish hip-hop provider GMC Beats to offer Rap & Beats Summer Workshops for young people.
Venue: Knocknaheeny Studio Kabin (Next to Terence Mac Swiney School)
Dates & Time: Monday 14th July to Friday 18th July, 10am to 1pm
Areas covered: Rapping, beatboxing, free styling, vocal performance, recording & beatmaking/music technology. Kids will have their own rap recorded and can try out beatboxing, beatmaking & performance.
Tutors: Garry McCarthy (producer, rapper), Dean O’Neill (beatboxer, producer), Lloyd Hogan (rapper), Ophelia McCabe (singer, rapper), Rory McGovern (musician, producer)
Suggested cost: €20 for the week
Open to kids aged 10 to 13 (4th class to 6th class)
