For the fourth year running, RTÉ Big Music Week (30th Sept - 6th Oct) celebrates the very best of home-grown musical talent by bringing live performance to audiences in Ireland and all over the world; on radio, on television, on-line and on mobile.
As part of RTÉ Big Music Week, Gealóga, a traditional music ensemble formed as part of the Music Generation Mayo - Music Residency Programme, will be performing live from Westport train station on RTÉ lyric fm with Marty Whelan and special guests from 7.30am. Musical Director of Gealóga, Emer Mayock, will also be there during the live broadcast.
