Early in 2020 TG4’s Nuacht paid a visit to the Music Generation Louth harp programme at Gaelscoil Dundalk. The partnership programme commenced a number of years ago and this year received support through PEACE IV Project Creative Interventions, enabling Music Generation Louth to purchase harps especially for the school and to expand tuition to reach some 20 students.
The programme is led by musician educator Deirdre Ní Bhuachalla, who delivers the tuition through Irish.
Locally, Music Generation Louth is led by Louth and Meath ETB with support from Louth County Council.
