Since its inception in 2012 Music Generation Mayo has strived to bring a range of musical opportunities and resources to young people throughout the county. The latest offering is a range of summer camps entitled Musical Journeys which took place in Ballinrobe and Ballina last month.
These camps have been specifically designed by a team of experienced musicians, proficient in a range of instruments and voice with the aim of exposing young people to the widest range of genres /instrument types and to encourage group playing, performance and experimentation in a fun and informal environment.
The camps were aimed at children and young people aged 10-16 years and accommodated beginners and proficient students alike.
