Music programmes recommence for 2014 at Music Generation Louth

MG Louth brass band
Music Generation Louth’s programmes have been established to help children and young people access music tuition locally. Activities range from foundation music programmes in pre-schools and infant classes to taster instrumental workshops, whole-class instrumental teaching in schools, a new junior strings orchestra, monthly traditional music workshops and the establishment of five regional centres of music tuition in Ardee, Dundalk, Dunleer, Drogheda and Cooley.

MG Louth are delighted to have lots of new interest in joining their programmes, and they're working hard to get everyone scheduled into their classes of choice.

Here is some news about music programmes commencing for the year:

- Classes started back at MG Louth’s 5 regional centres on the week of 6th January. Welcome to existing and new students!

- Orchestra rehearsals and choir rehearsals started back also. Big welcome to members old and new.

- Brass Band started again 7th January – well done on lovely Christmas performance for parents. New members always welcome.

- ‘Let's Sing’ 2014 gets underway on 22nd Jan. It’s a 16 week programme that will culminate in 4 mass choir performances with MG Louth’s own tutors ensemble at the end of May.
