Music Generation Sligo has teamed up with venues, festivals and music promoters on a discount scheme for young people under 18 to avail of half-price tickets. Details of the The ‘Go See’ initiative will be printed in brochures by the Hawk’s Well Theatre, Con Brio, Sligo Festival of Baroque Music, Sligo Live and more. According to Rhona McGrath, Co-ordinator with Music Generation Sligo "the aim of the Go See initiative is to support the young person and the music sector by encouraging attendance at music events. Music Generation Sligo is a broad performance music education programme and we would like to encourage young people to support and experience the best of live music performed in Sligo throughout the year."
