Music Generation Mayo’s End of Term Performances – May / June 2014
As Music Generation Mayo finishes another successful year of tuition and they have plenty to show for it, with concerts happening at all of their tuition centres around Mayo.
Music Generation Mayo has established a number of music tuition centres throughout Co.Mayo where there are little or no music tuition provisions in place. These centres cater for young people who wish to learn and progress with their instrumental and vocal music education. In 2014, four tuition centres are operational in Ballinrobe, Crossmolina, Rossport and Louisburgh.
Why not go along and support the young musicians performing and find out what’s offer for the new term, which starts in September.
End of year performances:
Louisburgh Tuition Centre: Sancta Maria College, Mon May 26th 7-8pm
Crossmolina Tuition Centre: St.Tiernan's College, Wed June 4th 7-8pm
Ballinrobe Tuition Centre: Ballinrobe Community School, Mon June 9th 6-7.30pm
Rossport Tuition Centre: Colaíste Chomáin, Tues June 10th 6-7pm
Examples of instruments currently taught include Tin Whistle, Flute, Violin, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Piano, Drums and Voice. If there is sufficient demand for a particular instrument to be taught Music Generation Mayo will attempt to accommodate this where possible.
