Music Generation Louth Senior Strings perform at Barmeath Castle
The Music Generation Louth Senior String Orchestra experienced a delightful performance opportunity, playing a private concert at Barmeath Castle on Monday evening 10th November with conductor Jayne Graham.
Jayne Graham herself along with many other professional string players in Louth travelled from around the county to perform at Barmeath Castle as they were growing up, thanks to a well-known dedicated local string teacher Fr Brendan McNally who sought these performance opportunities for young musicians in training.
The evening's performance was a fond trip down memory lane for the music tutors present and a rich performance experience for the young orchestra, in such historical surrounds.
