Last week the MGLC band interrupted their tour of secondary schools (visiting every school in the city before Christmas) to host 500 children aged 8-12 in the Lime Tree Theatre. This was a children's concert with a difference, introducing jazz, blues, gospel and rock, as well as songs such as Rappers Delight, Everybody walk the Dinosaur, We Will Rock You and reggae Classic Three Little Birds. Special guests included Marilyn Manson and Snoop Dogg (thanks to Your Man's Puppets Co.). The audience got involved and raised the roof in what will be the first in a series of such concerts.
