Kodo Performance
Drummers from the Music Generation Laois Stampede Drumming Programme and from the Music Generation Laois School of Rock and Pop will travel to Dublin on Sunday 23 February to attend a performance of Kodo One Earth Tour 2014: Legend. Kodo, the world-renowned Japanese Drumming Group, will be performing in the National Concert Hall in Dublin this February as part of their world tour 2014. Music Generation Loais's Stampede Drummers
Music Generation Laois’s Stampede Drumming programme offers students the opportunity to develop drumming skills, using both drum sticks and a range of other percussive instruments such as African Drums and South American drums and hand-held percussion. As well as drumming, this programme of study incorporates learning musical notation and a range of music skills in a fun environment, with well-known drumming tutor Eddie O’ Neil. Eddie is renowned across Ireland for his excellent work with schools and groups.
Performing is central to learning an instrument, and Stampede Drummers will be invited to take part, as a group, in a range of Music Generation Laois performances.
