Music Generation Laois are excited to launch two new initiatives for 2015/2016.
Oboe
Music Generation Laois are now offering Oboe lessons as part of a pilot programme through IAYO, Laois School of Music, Music Generation Laois, Music Generation Carlow and Carlow College of Music. A specialist tutor is in place to commence lessons on Saturdays, which will continue weekly, along with the introduction of periodical Skype lessons from student’s own home – a new initiative in instrumental teaching. The tutor has recommended a minimum starting age of 9, with no upper limit. Lessons will be subsidised and an oboe will be provided.
Double Bass
Tuition in Double Bass is now being offered and the starting age is 12, with no upper age limit.
