Music Generation Clare launch new primary strings programme

Clare Strings
A beginners whole class, fifteen week violin programme led by Eddie McMahon for fourth class pupils to include the learning of the rudiments of music, holding the violin and bow, finger exercises, tuning, bowing, open string playing and learning together as a team. Term will end on June 11th with the performance of a short piece to demonstrate the skills learned. Every participant is provided with a violin for the duration of the programme, so that every child has his/her own instrument to play during and between the classes.

The Holy Family School in Ennis is the first participant of this programme, which will be rolled out to further interested primary schools in September 2015. For further information, and to register an interest in participation in September, 2015 contact:
