Music Generation Carlow Piano Duet Club
Music Generation Carlow (MGC) was thrilled to launch a new performance initiative last September for talented young pianists around the county.
The Piano Duet Club, in partnership with Carlow College of Music, gives young piano students in Carlow the opportunity to meet fortnightly to work on piano duets within a small group setting. Places were limited for this unique club and all members range in age between 12-18 years.
The club is directed by accomplished pianist and MGC musician Gillian Daly who facilitates a fun learning atmosphere in which to develop the students' piano technique and performance practice.
It is hoped that these musicians in the making will form a core group of piano accompanists for Carlow in the near future.
