VISUAL - Linda Buckley Composition Performance
Music Generation Carlow has brought together a group of Transition Year students from Borris Vocational School in a musical collaboration with renowned Irish composer Linda Buckley. The project resulted in the creation of a fresh new piece of music in response to Janet Cardiff’s infamous Forty Part Motet. This select group of the TY students worked in creative partnership with Linda over several months to develop their compositional skills by exploring space, imitation, text, layering of sound, harmony, and equality of parts, visualisation, emotion and the senses.
4pm, Borris VISUAL Centre for Contemporary Art
