Celebrate Sligo’s vibrant music scene!
Sligo will host Ireland’s only Love:Live Music Day this year. Music Generation Sligo, Sligo Arts Service, Sligo Live and Sligo Music have joined forces with The Italian Quarter, Cairde Arts Festival, Furey’s Bar, Chapters and Ocean FM to host a bumper Love Live Music day in Sligo.
The diversity of the Sligo music scene will be on display in this highly anticipated event which will have a particular focus on young musicians. Although the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht and Music Network decided to postpone Love:Live Music nationally until 2015 to restructure the event, Sligo will continue to celebrate the wealth of talent in the city and county to help publicise how important live music is to Sligo.
Love:Live Music Day welcomes all visitors on Saturday June 21st from 2pm until late for a 'fun for all' musical event.
