Easter Camp - Traditional Music: Competition, Repertoire & Performance: WED 23rd – FRIDAY 25th APRIL
Young musicians will receive a high level of professional tuition and instruction from professional tutors and musicians led by Caoimhe Kearins. Along with advice on preparing for the upcoming County Sligo Fleadh and building their repertoire, participants will learn life-long skills in bringing a traditional performance to the stage.
The group will put together and perform a dynamic programme in Ceolaras Coleman with tutors on Friday evening 25th April. Participants will also have a further opportunity of performing as part of a Music Generation Sligo event for Fleadh Cheoil nahEireann on 10th August in the Hawk’s Well Theatre.
