Music Generation Wicklow is delighted to re-visit one of their 2014 commission pieces, Vanished Lands, in a performance for Culture Night 2014.
Members of Club Cheol na Lochanna Blessington play some lovely traditional arrangements at Rossborough House. This group of young musicians recently premiered a new piece of music called Vanished Lands in Tulfarris in July commissioned by Wicklow County Arts Office and Music Generation Wicklow. This work was composed by Neil Martin specifically for this group, while based on the stories of the Poulaphuca Reservoir it engaged the talents of the young musicians and their various instruments.
