On Tuesday 21st May a trio of talented musicians from around the country performed for international delegates attending a Department of Education and Skills Conference organised as part of Ireland’s EU Presidency.

This event, a Meeting of the Directors General for Vocational Education and Training which took place in the Botanic Gardens, Dublin, featured Mayo harpist Éadaoin Ní Mhaicín, Donegal violinist Sarah Walsh and David Keating from Cork on guitar. The musicians were nominated by their respective Music Education Partnerships to represent their counties on this international stage.

She is the reigning All-Ireland Champion on the Harp at Oireachtas na Gaeilge and will represent Ireland at the Celtic Music Festival in Lorient in France in 2013.
