Music Generation Carlow Job Opportunity: Resource Person (37 hours per week)
Specific Purpose Contract - Up to 31 December 2015
Providing organisational and administrative support to Music Generation classes and programmes as directed by the Music Generation Co-ordinator. The postholder will be responsible for the administration of all aspects of the enrolment and associated recording processes of students. In addition, the postholder will assist with the preparation, and set up for individual and group music classes. The postholder will be required to deliver up to 20 hours a week tuition on the programme.
The successful candidate will have an appropriate third level qualification - music and/music teaching/music education is essential with a minimum of three years experience of working in a teaching / learning environment. Excellent planning , organisational and communication skills with competency in the use of Mircosoft Office applications (eg Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook). Full clean driving licence with no endorsements is essential.
