Back for another year, Cruinniú na nÓg is Ireland’s national day of free creativity for those aged under 18, where thousands of young people, parents and families will have the opportunity to take part in a wide range of fun, free, creative activities. A flagship initiative of the Creative Ireland Programme’s Creative Youth plan, Cruinniú na nÓg 2019 will take place tomorrow, Saturday 14 June and, as in 2018, many Music Generation partnerships will be part of the action.
Music Generation Sligo is set to raise the roof of the Rumble Rehearsal Studios with a concert featuring performances by three teenage bands that rehearse as part of the Music Generation Sligo Saturday sessions.
Wexford music lovers have plenty of opportunities to get involved, as Music Generation Wexford invites you to join its Room to Create sound art workshop for teenagers in the Presentation Centre, its High Street Opera Shop for young people aged 8-14 in the National Opera House and the Pavilion in the Park singing showcase, Gorey.
Wherever you’re based, and whatever your musical tastes, we encourage you to dive into Cruinniú na nÓg 2019! For more information about the full programme in all counties visit cruinniu.creativeireland.gov.ie
