Opportunity: Musicians/Music Tutors & Administrator, Music Generation Meath

Louth and Meath Education and Training Board (LMETB) invites applications for the positions of Musicians/Music Tutors and Administrator at Music Generation Meath.

Meath has been selected for participation in Music Generation - Ireland’s National Music Education Programme- that transforms the lives of children and young people through access to high quality performance music education in their locality. Initiated by Music Network, Music Generation is co-funded by U2, The Ireland Funds, the Department of Education and Skills and Local Music Education Partnerships.

Panel of Musicians / Music Tutors

LMETB, on behalf of Music Generation Meath, seeks applications for vacancies that may become available in 2020 from musicians with specialism in teaching the following areas:

  • Small group tuition in vocal (including choral) or instrumental learning (any music genre).
  • Large group tuition (vocal and/or instrumental) in a range of school, community and youth settings.
  • Ensemble (instrumental/vocal), band facilitation, mentoring in any genre of music, including, where applicable, songwriting/creative composition/rap, music technology/recording etc.
  • Early Years - Vocal and/or instrumental tuition for children aged under 5

Candidates must have prior experience in delivering musical tuition to children and young people and have proven performance skills.
