18/12/2017 - 50 young flautists join Sir James and Lady Jeanne Galway for a special ‘Galway Community Flute Day’
On Sunday 10 December 2017, 50 young flautists from Carlow, Laois, Cork City, Music Wicklow, Offaly/Westmeath and Louth gathered at the Royal Irish Academy of Music, Dublin, where they took part in the first ever Galway Community Flute Day in partnership with Music Generation.

Seven members of the Music Generation Laois Harp Ensemble, under the direction of musician Siobhán Buckley, performed for guests at The Ireland Funds Young Leaders Christmas 2017 Reception in Trinity College Dublin.
