Young musicians from Music Generation South Dublin help to launch Culture Night 2016!

Daragh and Éadaoin Sheehy – two young members of Music Generation South Dublin’s Trad Group – put their best faces forward as they joined the team at Culture Night for the launch of its 2016 programme, last Wednesday 10 August.

The pair is also among 22 other young musicians from South Dublin who will travel to Ennis this week to present a live showcase of their traditional Irish music on stage at the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann Gig Rig! This will mark the first ever ensemble performance for Music Generation South Dublin outside of the county.

In September, Music Generation South Dublin will team up with Tallaght Community Arts to present an exciting fantastic performance at Pearse Museum as part of the 2016 Culture Night programme. More details about the event will be released in the coming weeks.
