From 30 October – 1 November 2019, over 120 young musicians from across the country gathered in Waterford to experience Brass Off 2019.
Brass Off is a 3-day residential course that gives young wind, brass and percussion players the opportunity to develop their performance skills and learn new styles of music. Together, they participated in chamber groups, county ensembles and mega band rehearsals under the guidance of a team of Music Generation tutors, alongside special guest Band and Artistic Director Darcy Vogt Williams, from Texas USA.
Brass Off 2019 was presented by Music Generation Waterford and Music Generation Carlow and co-funded by the Music Generation / Arts Council partnership.
